SERVICES

We are proud of our reputation for swift, high-quality work at competitive prices, and we work hard to make sure that each and every job receives the utmost care and attention to detail. We are happy to share our knowledge and give our best advice to you, whether you have any questions about our services, tips for more successful shooting, guidance on what to look for when buying a gun, or information on the history of the sport and the trade.

If you have a requirement that is not addressed here, please contact us; we are able to assess any difficult & bespoke work you may need.

You recently serviced my AYA No.2 & lengthened the stock. I wanted to write and say thank you for the professional & expedient manner in which the work was carried out. Your help and advice was much appreciated and the gun is probably looking as good (if not better) than the day it left the factory!
Over the years I have had other gunsmiths carry out work for me, but never with quite the degree of professional thoroughness & attention to detail as that shown by yourself, which is a credit to you. I would be very happy to use your services again and would recommend your work to anyone.
Thank you once again for an excellent job.

examples of our work

replacement extractor

This William Ford came to us with a broken right-hand extractor; we made a replacement from high tensile steel, fitted it and timed the ejectors. The gun was also rejointed and fully serviced to return it to shooting condition.

replacement tumbler

A Henry Atkin sidelock with a broken tumbler; the swivel seat had snapped and was missing. A new tumbler was made, modified with a blind swivel seat to provide additional strength at this high stress point, with a matching swivel.

case fitting

This case was relined to fit this W.R. Pape, along with period accessories engraved to match.
